L rae & J
Lindsay Rae and Joey met in 2015 at a festival in Southern MB. Joey was hired as the drummer for the 'Lindsay Rae Band' in early 2016. The couple immediately 'hit it off' when the band planned to meet up for breakfast, and the couple unknowingly, were being set up for a date. The rest is history as the duo fell in love and decided to put their music backgrounds in performing & songwriting together. They officially formed the duo, 'L Rae & J' in January 2017. Their first official performance was at their own wedding ceremony when they sang the 'Unity' song they wrote together, 'Last Star to Fall'.
The duo can be found performing at festivals across the prairies, as well as smaller intimate coffee houses and venues in Southern MB. They recently returned from a West Coast Adventure Tour, and are currently in the studio working on new music to be released in Spring 2018.
