Scratching River Tractor Club consists of a bunch of men who love old tractors.  For almost 30 years we have fixed and shown our tractors in an annual tractor show.  In a show, we typically start with a parade including a short commentary on each tractor.  We also compete in a number of games like the slow race, balance beam, chain pull and “crack the egg”.  Along with our bigger tractors, we have a garden tractor competition for the younger people.  A synchronized driving and a threshing demonstration are part of the show.  We have also done hayrides for the kids and a barrel train for the smaller kids.  The ice cream maker should be up and running again this year.  We have never charged admission but love to see a large crowd cheering on the drivers.
