About the Festival

The Rosenort Summer Festival is a community celebration held each August in Rosenort, Manitoba. Over the course of a fun-filled weekend, families and friends gather to enjoy a wide variety of activities, entertainment, and events. From bouncers, petting zoos, children's entertainment, and basketball tournaments to our famous Ping Pong Ball Drop, fireworks, live music, and evening entertainment, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

One of the things that makes the Rosenort Summer Festival special is that nearly all festival events are offered free of charge, ensuring that families can participate and create lasting memories together. Be sure to visit our events page to discover everything we have planned for this year's festival.

The festival is organized entirely by a dedicated volunteer committee and is made possible through the generous support of local businesses, organizations, and sponsors from Rosenort and surrounding communities. Their contributions help bring this celebration to life each year, and we are incredibly grateful for their ongoing support.

Beyond providing a weekend of fun, the festival is rooted in community spirit and giving back. Having experienced the support of others during challenging times, including devastating floods, our community believes strongly in helping those in need. Each year, our Saturday evening fundraising supper supports a charitable organization or community project. Past recipients have included the Food Grains Bank, Samaritan's Purse, STARS Air Ambulance, the Rosenort Fire Department, the Rosenort River Trail, Rosenort School, Rosenort Daycare, LUD Rosenort, and many others.

The Rosenort Summer Festival is more than just an event - it's a celebration of community, generosity, and the people who make our town special.

A community event - made possible by coming together!
